A small number of club members met up at the Thruscross Reservoir car park for a new type of meet up for us. 'Walking with Drones', a drone flying/walking combo meet.
The weather was good, not over warm and some blue in the sky would help for the pictures. The route to be walked was around 8km around the reservoir which after the very dry summer had a very low water level so it was possible to get some shots that would be unobtainable in wetter times.
The walk itself was on decent footpaths for the majority of it and was relatively easy going, with just one section that was a little bit challenging. The route can be seen at https://www.alltrails.com/trail/england/north-yorkshire/thruscross-reservoir-and-west-end-circular
